THE CAUSE AND STORY BEHIND THE T-SHIRT

Tina and A.J. Guillot have been married for almost 35 years and have faced many challenges along the way.  This August, A.J. began experiencing kidney issues.  After a few weeks of tests, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer and it was later determined that the cancer was Stage 4 and in the lymph nodes below the kidney.  On September 5th, A.J. had surgery to remove the kidney and the lymph nodes that were impacted.  Initial pathology results show that the “fringe” lymph nodes are clear, but A.J. has been referred to an oncologist who will determine a plan for treatment to prevent further spreading and a course of action to monitor the situation.

Here are some ways you can help:

(1)  PRAY FOR A.J., TINA, AND THEIR CHILDREN.  They have courageously fought every battle thrown their way and have tried to be faithful in the process.  Please pray for complete healing and peace and comfort for all.

(2)  BUY A T-SHIRT.  A.J.’s cancer diagnosis has led to unexpected medical expenses and loss of income since the problems began in August.  While the treatment plan and long-term effects are as yet undetermined, the loss of income will continue until A.J. is able to fully recover from surgery and return to his jobs as a Sports Official and Lyft Driver.  When Tina began posting on Facebook about the diagnosis, she shared a photo of A.J. umpiring a baseball game and said she envisioned him saying “Cancer, you’re outta here!”  It caught on and friends have been sharing the hashtag - #CancerYoureOuttaHere in their posts and comments.  To show A.J. our love and support, we’ve designed t-shirts using that hashtag.  100% of the profits from the sale of the shirts will be provided back to Tina and A.J. to help offset his medical bills and loss of income.
